Cosmetics: The Science of Beauty

The American Chemical Society—Midland Section presents “Cosmetics: The Science of Beauty” with Jason Vogel of Dow Corning Application Engineering & Technical Service and Dr Gina Malczewski on February 19, 2014, from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Midland High School Exploratorium. We invite you to join us for this special program about cosmetic science, especially as it relates to silicones in personal care. Learn about hair, skin and nails, the tests that are used to evaluate cosmetic products, and the nature of typical products. Guests will make their very own lotion!


Please reserve your spot by emailing Gina Malczewski: reginamalczewski@gmail.com. Seats not occupied 10 minutes prior to the presentation can be given to those wait-listed or to walk-ins. Not recommended for small children; appropriate for ages 12 and up, but all are welcome.
