The leaves of A. zerumbet, collected from Puerto Rico contain levels of phenolic and flavoniods components.From which were extracted to conduct a series of studies.Among them figure a collection of seven microorganisms were used, including the Gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermis, Micrococcus roseus, enterococcus faecalis and Gram-negative Brahanmella catarrhalis, Citrobacter freundi using the well difussion method.
