  Abstract:

Green Chemistry is defined as the movement to keep our planet   clean and with less chemical production and wastes. The ACS Green   Chemistry Division Student Chapter, from the UPRAg has the   compromise to make sustainable chemistry and teach chemistry on a   benign way.Our member have the challenge of creating new and   innovative ideas that will allow us to educate our community   about the meaning of green chemistry. The members are using new   approaches such as hand-on-experiments, building up a website and   develop survey to encourage our students to think green! To   highlight all our green chemistry activity, our chapter designed   a green chemistry t-shirt using the phrase "What is your Green   Chemistry IQ?" The power of green chemistry was recognized in our   first Go Green Day, speaking with the community about who we are   and how to think green to save our planet, our life!!!
