  Abstract:

    A method for determining the silicon—aluminium (SiAl) ratios from   powder X-ray diffraction data of A-type zeolites in the   composition range 1.0< Si:Al <3.0 is described. The method   uses empirically derived correlations between several reflection   intensity ratios and composition, which provides a higher degree   of precision than using measurements of unit-cell dimensions   derived from the same data.
