Mullins (2008) suggests that good performance on topics of Organic Chemistry would require the appropriate domain of the concepts namely, electronegativity, polar covalent bond, steric effect, inductive effect, resonance and aromaticity because they would have instrumental value in solving tasks. This work focuses on investigating how these structural elements are present in the arguments developed by undergraduate students and teachers by The Conceptual Fields Theory. As a result we propose the stereochemistry as another designer to the Mullins model element.
