Would you like to learn more about ACS's Office of International Activities? Check out our bimonthly publication, which has been designed to provide information on activities, networks, resources, products and services related to international aspects of chemical sciences, technology, engineering and innovation.
The International Activities Committee, through the Office of International Activities, delivers the Science and Human Rights Series to address the central role the chemical sciences play in advancing fundamental human rights such as access to safe water, sanitation, and health, and opportunities our science creates in the treatment of illness via access to quality medicines, nutritious food, safe water, and sanitation.
ACS Offers Seed Funding for International Collaboration
The ACS Global Research Experiences, Exchanges, and Training Program (GREET) offers research teams—typically an early-career mentor and a graduate or undergraduate student—up to US$11,000 in seed funding to engage a colleague abroad in a new international collaboration. Over a period of several on-site weeks at an international host institution of their choice, the selected teams initiate a project that enhances their professional skills, knowledge, intercultural competence, and personal networking while advancing the progress of science. Learn more about the ACS GREET program by visiting www.acs.org/greet or perusing the recent article in Chemical & Engineering News.
