Beyond the topics listed in the e-mail message below there is likely the opportunity for the Region Boards to put forward topics of mutual interest for discussion.  Those best put forward to the ACS M&E Regional Meetings Subcommittee in advance of the upcoming Philadelphia national meeting for optimum consideration.

Subject: 2016 Region Board Workshop

Dear Region Board Chairs and Members,

I’m excited to announce that the Office of Regional Meetings has developed a Region Board Workshop!  The Region Board Workshop will be held in conjunction with the Regional Meeting Planning Conference (RMPC) at the ACS, November 4 – 6, 2016.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide useful training and information to Region Board Chairs and representatives on topics/tracks  such as, but not limited to:

•    Tax Compliance

•    Understanding your role and responsibility as a Regional Board representative

•    Pulse check on Region By-Laws

•    Are you an asset to your Regional Meeting

•    What’s Your Brand

We are extremely proud of this initiative and look forward to your participation.   The registration form is attached and housing arrangements will be made on your behalf at the Washington Plaza Hotel.  Mark Your Calendar today,  so that you don’t miss out on this opportunity!
