For the past ten years I have worked as a Research Associate Scientist in the Drug Discovery
Chemistry at various companies. My main responsibilities focused on the synthesis (cGMP) and
complete characterization of new chemical entities to generate potential INDs, CMC
submissions, development and process validation in support of cGMP biologics and
I have the ability to work independently as well as in a cross-functional team environment and
excellent communication, writing and presentation skills. I’ve traveled to CROs,/CMOs both
domestic and international (25%).
I have been awarded several patents, scientific publications, and am responsible for discovering
(through organic chemistry synthesis) a clinical candidate phase III compound for the treatment
of clostridium difficile.
I’ve participated in various courses in Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs where I’ve
gained experience in writing the required reports for Preclinical submissions of the CMC,IND,
NDA, and eCTD.
For two years I was a voting member of the Boston University Medical Center Institutional
Review Board engaged in reviewing and approving Clinical Research Protocols.
