National Chemistry Week (NCW) is an annual event that unites American Chemical Society (ACS) Local Sections, businesses, schools, and individuals in communicating the importance of chemistry in every day life.

The 25th Anniversary NCW celebration will take place on October 21-27, 2012.  The theme for 2012 is “Nanotechnology: The Smallest BIG Idea in Science!”  and provides an opportunity of exploring  the positive impact of chemistry as it relates to materials and technology in everyday life.

Join the upcoming ACS-NSTA Web Seminar to find about activities for your classroom and draw from a range of free  science education sources for this (and past) NCW celebrations.
