Mobile Meeting Application

The ACS National Meeting Mobile Application is a full-featured guide designed to enhance the attendees’ meeting experience, support the ACS sustainability initiatives, and provide additional tools to assist in navigating throughout the national meetings. You will be able to download the app from the Apple™ App Store and Android’s Google Play (search for ACS Spring Meeting 2014) beginning Monday, February 24.

Features of the app include:

  • Browse and filter technical programs by divisions, presenters and themes
  • Notifications and reminders for upcoming presentations or sessions marked on your itinerary
  • Governance and social event listing
  • Exhibitor listings and product categories
  • Links to floor plans, social networks and guides to get around the city

We look forward to receiving your feedback through the the “More” tab within the app.

Abstract Replacement System Project

Development for the new abstract collection system continues to move along as scheduled. Demos of the Scholar One system will be shown during the Dallas National Meeting throughout the day on Monday, March 17th in the Sheraton, Majestic 1 Room. An invitation to participate in these demos has been sent to all divisions and regional meeting program planners. In April and May, we will host mock meetings in the new system to give volunteers the opportunity to test the abstract submission process and the offline abstract organization/management process. We will be asking all divisions and regional meeting program planners to participate in these mock meetings. To sign-up for the mock meeting, email abstractteam@acs.org .
