The ACS chapter at San Joaquin Delta College, along with the chemistry faculty, celebrated National Chemistry Week in a very special way. The students from ACS and the faculty organized what many of the audience members, would call a magic show. The ACS chapter and the chemistry faculty, put on a chemistry show with different chemical demonstrations, from color changing reactions to explosions! The show was public to all the students and residents. The show had a really good turn out with an audience from all age ranges. With this type of events, one of the main goals is to get people interested in the science, specially the youth, so that they consider a career in science.
