Simply take a photo that shows us why you love your Periodic Table blanket. Then, either post it on the ACS Facebook Contest Page using our submission tool or submit by uploading to Twitter or Instagram and tagging your photo with #ACSPhotoContest. It’s that simple! More details regarding the contest are available on our contest page. Entries are due by November 15, 2013.




Seeking volunteers to chat informally about their chemistry careers with small groups of undergraduate students at the Undergraduate Speed Networking Event with Chemistry Professionals during the Spring 2013 ACS National Meeting in New Orleans. Chemists with traditional and nontraditional careers, from all job sectors, graduate students, postdocs, and retired chemists are invited to participate. This event will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center on Monday, April 8, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. If you are available volunteer for 30 minutes or longer, please contact Lori Betsock at or at (800) 227-5558, ext. 6188.
