Better Ways to Browse: Print/Grid Views

1. ACS on Campus: Purdue takes place November 15-16, 2010 at Purdue

University in West Lafayette, Indiana. ACS on Campus: Chicago hosted by

Northwestern University will take place November 18-19, 2010. Sessions will

address issues in Scholarly Communication and Alternative Careers in

Chemistry. If you would like to attend or learn more about the program,

2. Congratulations to Lisa Rose-Wiles, Science Librarian at Seton Hall

University, and the 2010 ACS Publications Charleston Scholarship winner.

Lisa's winning submission was an open letter in response to the following

scenario: The University Librarian is a musicologist and wants to cut

science budgets to allow for more humanities resources. What does a science

3. C&EN Archives Free Access -- Academic customers with the complete ACS Web

Editions package will have free access to the new C&EN Archives from

November 4 - December 31, 2010. The new high-res PDF pages of C&EN (from

1923-2009) are fully integrated with ACS book and journals on the ACS Web

Editions Platform. Test drive this new product at

ACS¹ All Publications customers, indicating the addition of C&EN Archives to

your subscribed content. This confirms your access through the trial

period, but does not reflect any decisions to add access to C&EN Archives

5. Chemical & Engineering News launches second news channel, Analytical

SCENE -- Analytical SCENE is a stream of articles about analytical research
