Re: Update on the ACS CINF Division website

Would it be possible to hook up to Google Analytics to get usage info? Or is

there a pre-exisiting analytics framework being used?

Re: Update on the ACS CINF Division website

Danielle,

You did a great job! I find the new web site easy to navigate, and I like that it is not crowded. One thing that I have noticed is that the page with the interviews published in CIB needs to be updated to include the last interview that was published in the Fall 2010 issue:

http://acscinf.org/docs/publications/CIB/2010/3/index.asp

Maybe there are other things that need to be added, too. I would like to suggest that those involved in particular areas should review what is currently included and what needs to be updated. It is very important that we help Danielle by providing new content and feedback, as it is not possible for a single person to carry such a big burden.

I would also like to thank Bill Town for choosing Danielle and for supporting her in this big and important for CINF project.

Re: Update on the ACS CINF Division website

I've just added the "Metrics" link under the "Contact, etc." menu tab. It links to Google Analytics. However, I do not know the username and password. Does anyone have this information? Rick perhaps?

Re: Update on the ACS CINF Division website

Thank you Svetla!

There are probably a few pages that need updates, but I am not sure of the procedures for updates. It would be great if members could let me know what needs updating. For example, I see that there are probably some recent Award recipients that were not added to the website. I'm not sure where to find this information. Perhaps there is other information that also needs updating?

Thanks,

Danielle

Re: Update on the ACS CINF Division website

Great! Thank you.

The 2010 awards were announced in the Summer 2010 issue of the Bulletin, under "CINF Awards":

Re: Update on the ACS CINF Division website

Danielle,

Current and past sponsor lists both seem to be fall 2010 data.  Maybe you don't have any other data available?

Re: Update on the ACS CINF Division website

Unfortunately, that was the only information I had. Do you know where I could get the 2011 sponsors? And I imagine that the sponsors would also change in the right hand column of the site?

-Danielle.

Re: Update on the ACS CINF Division website

Hi Danielle,

Great job - I like the new website! Thank you Danielle and Bill. I would

very much appreciate if you could place a link to the 9th International

Conference on Chemical Structures to be held June 5 - 9, 2011, in

Noordwijkerhout, The Netherlands, on the meeting page of the new website.

The URL is http://www.int-conf-chem-structures.org/. As you might know, CINF

as an ACS Division is one of the seven organizing societies of this

important international conference held every three years. Let me know if

you have any questions.

Thank you very much!

Re: Update on the ACS CINF Division website

Graham Douglas will update you on sponsors for 2011. There is probably no point in adding 2009 sponsors as “past”. Wendy
