Research and Special Interests:
I am a 5th year graduate student at UCLA in the Department of Chemistry and Biohemistry. My Ph.D. research revolves around three main areas: 1) Developing new magnetic heterogeneous synthetic organic catalyst 2) Developing a simple new route to preparing functionalized silanes for surface coating applications. 3) Characterizing and manipulating solid/liquid and liquid/liquid interfaces in droplet microfluidic and macrofluidic devices. My favorite research topics are material science, surface science, and organic chemistry.
Area of Expertise:
Surfaces and colloids, magnetic nanoparticles, synthetic catalysts, interfacial chemistry, and droplet-based microfluidics
Years of Expertise:
