Former senior research chemist in the Chemical Synthesis and Application Technology departments of the Lubrizol Corp. for 30 years. Developed new lubricant & fuel additives. Worked on leveraging Lubrizol technology into new markets including adhesives & sealants, defoamers, specialty silicones, electrorheological fluids, carbon black coupling agents, cetane improvers, adiabatic lubes and oil sensors. Worked closely with subsidiaries and other departments including Patent (office actions), Regulatory Compliance, Business Development (opportunity assessments), Acquisitions (technology due diligence), Safety (coauthored division safety manual), Publications and Pilot Plant. Inventor on 25 U.S. patents. Now doing occasional consulting.
