Developed solid amine based sorbents for the removal of CO2, H2S, and SO2 using ab initio quantum chemistry, in situ infrared spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Studied the mechanism of photo-catalytic dehydrogenation in gas-solid and liquid-solid environments. Investigated NOx reduction catalyst for nitric oxide decomposition and selective catalytic reduction. Currently working on room temperature air separation sorbents.
