The ACS Council Policy Committee will be hosting the 2014 New Councilor Orientation and Reception for all newly elected Councilors and Alternate Councilors on Saturday, March 15 in Dallas, TX starting at 4:00 PM.
Councilors will have an opportunity to meet with other ACS leaders, learn more about the Society, receive information about ACS committees, and establish mentoring relationships. All new Councilors and Alternate Councilors are invited to attend.  Please plan to arrive at the National Meeting in time for this event. More details will be posted to the Councilor Group on the ACS Network and sent to the new Councilors directly.
We Hope to See You on Saturday in Dallas!

Get Involved, Stay Involved

ACS is a membership organization founded on democratic principles. It has many governing bodies and the meeting is an opportunity for these members to address the ongoing work of the organization. We hope that many will take advantage of this opportunity to learn firsthand of the society’s operation. Alternate councilors and division and local section officers are particularly urged to attend.

ACS offers many ways to get involved at the local, regional, and national levels. There are opportunities for everyone, whether you are a student, just starting your career, or a seasoned professional
