FTM_SF_400x400.gifI am really getting excited about the upcoming National Meeting in San Francisco! When you have down time or just want to put on a pair of comfortable shoes and hang out in the city, I recommend checking out the Exploratorium! It’s at Pier 15 in the heart of the waterfront.

San Francisco’s Exploratorium is known as a global leader in informational learning, igniting curiosity and inspiring “creativity in all ages.” With more than 330,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, it sits right on the Embarcadero, the eastern waterfront and roadway of the Port of San Francisco. The Embarcadero houses cafés, food carts and retail space. Inside, visitors will discover more than 600 hands-on exhibits. This spectacular glass-and-steel “Bay Observatory” will allow visitors to investigate the environment and enjoy breathtaking views. A flexible, multipurpose venue will also be available for day and evening events in the Forum. If you are bringing your kids with you to San Fran, don't forget that there is child care available for attendees. Oh, and while you’re there, check out the seals coming up for a breather. They are adorable!

If you plan on being in town on the 7th or 14th, every Thursday night from 6:00 - 10:00 there is an gathering at the Exploratorium. Adults (18+ only) are invited each week as they offer a different program to stimulate your senses and expand your mind. Delicious nibbles and outrageous bay views are available at the SeaGlass restaurant, and cash bars offer libations of all kinds. Come for the cocktails, stay for the exhibits, and indulge in endless exploration. Learn more and get tickets at Thursday Nights | Exploratorium
