A Day in the Life...

Blog Post created by Professor Molenium on Aug 9, 2014

You may wonder, what is a typical day in the life of Professor Molenium?  Unlike my colleagues, I spend most of my time aboveground at the ACS office.

I’m currently preparing for the upcoming 248th ACS National Meeting in San Francisco. My schedule is already booking up with so much to see at the ACS Booth and attending ACS events like the Kavli lecture series.  It’s a lot of work but luckily, I have my ACS beaker mug for a caffeine boost and a periodic table wall clock to keep me on time.

I’ve also been getting camera ready to take selfies with all of you at the meeting.  If you take a photo with me and post it on your profile, you can claim a prize (while supplies last).  To make sure I look my best for all your Facebook walls, I’ve been tufting my fur and dressing to impress with items from the ACS Store. Remember, ACS merchandise is only available at the ACS National Meeting in the ACS Store.

There I am in my favorite periodic table tie and ACS cap!

When I need a break from the office, I leave my lab coat and periodic table tie behind for an outdoor stroll in my comfortable period table long-sleeve t-shirt. Lucky for me, I found some friends who also had an affinity for the periodic table.

If you like the periodic table shirt or any of the items you’ve seen in this post, stop by the ACS Store! You can only buy these items at the ACS National Meeting in the ACS Store, so be sure to stop by for a beaker mug, clock, mole plush doll and more. While you’re there, why not pick something up for a friend or family member? You’ll be the most popular member in your “labour” or group.  Look how happy these little ones were when they got their ACS gear.

Alright, it’s time for me to get to work! Be sure to check back soon for another blog post from yours truly. In the meantime, I’ll be busy writing about the ACS National Meeting.  I’ll see you in San Francisco! #ACSsanfran
