I am active in the Division of Chemical Education and the Division of Chemical Technicians, I am an associate member on the Local Section Activity Committee (LSAC) and Liaison to Committee of Community Affairs (CCA) as a councilor of the Virginia Local Section.
I have been Chair, chair Elect, Vice Chair and Secretary of the Virginia Section and presently I am one of three councilors representing the section. I am the webmaster of our local site, the coordinator of the Chemistry Olympiad and am presently Program Chair for the SouthEastern Regional meeting (SERMACS) scheduled for November of 2011 in Richmond Virginia.
