Dr. Ron Bihovsky is the founder of
Key Synthesis LLC. He has over 20 years of experience in organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry research in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, where he has worked on numerous classes of small molecules ranging from heterocycles to peptide mimetics.
Before working in industry, Dr. Bihovsky conducted research on total synthesis of natural products as a professor of organic chemistry at SUNY Stony Brook, where he published under the name Hans A. Bates.
He has authored 50 publications and is an inventor on 15 US patents and numerous international patents.
Dr. Bihovsky received a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and was an NIH postdoctoral fellow at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
