I’m past president of the ACS Mayagüez Student Chapter (we obtained the Outstanding & Green Chapter Award). This position required excellent interpersonal skills; most notably, my responsibilities included help in the organizations of events and promotions, usher in activities, freshman’s orientation and counselor. I have been in the ACS since I was freshman, and I consider this organization an extraordinary experience to grow up as professional.
On January 2011 I have been selected for the 2011 Student Leadership Award. This was a great experience. I had the opportunity to interact with different professionals and ACS undergraduate students. Also in 2010 I was select as Chemistry Ambassador of the American Chemical Society by the Puerto Rico Local Section. Chemistry is part of my life and I want to share with the entire world what exciting it is!
