Chemistry Professor and Industrial Scientist who is currently teaching general chemistry and organic chemistry at Ventura College, Ventura CA.
Spent the previous twenty five years at the Dow Chemical Company in basic and applied R&D as a technical leader who invented and implemented technology for making polymeric materials and composites. Two years were on foreign assignment in Horgen, Switzerland, and my work group was usually global.
Specific areas of expertise include synthetic polymer chemistry, determination of structure-property relationships of polymers and composites, project management and synthetic organic chemistry.
