My formal education and training is in small molecule organic synthesis and peptide chemistry with experience in relevant analytical techniques.
Following the completion of my degree, I moved into polymer synthesis and characterization by thermal, mechanical, and rheological means.
I was initially employed at Tate & Lyle in Decatur, Illinois, where I was part of a team working on the development of sustainable polymers.
Following a relocation to the Boston, MA area, I am now employed at E Ink Corporation, where I am delighted to be able to work on the company's e-paper display technology. I specialize in pigment surface modification, electrophoretic "ink" formulation and formula optimization.
