I am currently the Chemical Threat Laboratory Coordinator (Scientist 4) for the State of Idaho. My primary duty is to lead chemical emergency preparedness efforts at the state public health laboratory. This entails response planning, grant and budget management, implementation of CDC, FDA and EPA methods, writing and presenting technical information, and emergency sample analysis. In my position, I regularly collaborate with professionals in local, state, and federal government as well as academia. My scientific interests relate to the development and application of new technologies for real-world problems.
