My research activity is devoted to the depollution of wastewater coming above all from heavy industries. Detoxification steps as the oxidation of cyanides and the reduction of hexavalent Chromium take a great part of my duties. Morevore, I am interested in the optimization of the precipitation steps as neutralization/coagulation/flocculation.
The oxidation of organic pollutants present in wastewater was the topic of my PhD Thesys and keeps to be important in my activities, since many of water soluble organic compounds are noxious for the aquatic life.
