Research and Special Interests: I have been retired for many years and I am in the latter stages of my life, but the arrival of the internet, broadband, blogs and social networking opened up many new opportunities, ideas, possibilities, concepts and perspectives. I have recently developed an interest in the application of automated invention technologies such as Professor John Koza's genetic programming and Dr Steven Thaler's Creativity Machine and Professor Simon Colton's automated scientific discovery including. robotic methods and Professor Kenneth Stanley of University of Central Florida picbreeder program which could be adapted to drug breeder and substance breeder and reaction breeder which is evolutionary computing under human guidance. I discussed these ideas in MIT alumni discussion network and MIT Technology Review reader blogs, as well as in LinkedIn groups and newsgroups.
