My work as focused on the intersection of Organic Chemistry and Material Science. Organic molecules can be tailored for a wide diversity of properties that may replace or augment current solid-state materials and devices. They offer the benefits of low-cost and low-temperature processing and in nano-scale and single-molecule device architectures a small amount of molecule can furnish thousands of working devices. Towards the future, I am currently interested in novel electrode materials and graphene-functionalizing chemistries.
