Research and Special Interests: I have been implementing a novel approach to physical chemistry laboratory instruction through the use of a wiki based lab report development and an editing process where original reports are shared and both edited and modified by subsequent student teams. I am interested in incorporating Service Learning (SL) experiences within chemistry curricula. This involves both an initial experience for our majors as well as the potential for upper class majors to develop, facilitate and assess ongoing SL projects within the curriculum. Finally I have an interest and I am beginning to develop ethics and communication modules within our curriculum structure.
