Patrick J. Y. Lim is Professor and Chair of the Department of Chemistry at the University of San Carlos in Cebu City, Philippines. He completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry (2000) at the University of Melbourne investigating novel reactions of metal-;sulfur compounds with activated alkynes. He is currently editor of The Philippine Scientist and sits in the US NAS Committee on Promoting Safe and Secure Chemical Management in Developing Countries.
