Research and Special Interests: I am an Analytical Chemist/Material scientist focusing on a novel biomaterial and its diverse applications. The biomaterial I invented is a binary guanosine gel and has unique thermal and pH sensitivity and can be easily tuned to have different chiral structure (patent pending). The applications of the biomaterial I am working on include DNA mutation separation, enzyme activity stabilization (patent pending) and nanotube solubilization, purification and separation (patent pending). My professional expertise includes analytical science, material science, nanotechnology and enzyme activity. I am currently graduate student in Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and will graduate soon. My current goal is to seek a industry position.
Area of Expertise: Separation (CE, affinity separation) Spectroscopy (UV/Vis, CD, Raman, Fluorescence, NIR) Mass Spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS, LC-MS) Bioanalytical Chemistry (enzyme activity stabilization) Nanotechnology (nanotube purification and separation) Material Science (Polymer, Biomaterial)
Years of Expertise: 1-5
