Research and Special Interests: Designed target-focused libraries for peptide-binding GPCR, and phosphoinositide kinase families using ligand-based and structure-based methods. Applied Cheminformatics and Data Mining methods to analyze of adverse drug reactions and off-target mediated effects of drugs and drug candidates. Performed structure modeling and epitope prediction for Complement System proteins. The results led to a new, antibody-based technique for treating ocular diseases. Prepared an HTS library optimized for cell permeability and structural diversity, based on analysis of PAMPA data. Developed applications for the analysis and visualization of shape diversity and chemical diversity in very large chemical libraries.
Area of Expertise: Cheminformatics, Structural Bioinformatics, Molecular Modeling, Scientific Software Development
Years of Expertise: 11-15
