I was born in Recife/ PE, Brazil in 1984. In 2003 I started my scientific life entering in the Scientific Initiation Fellowship Program for undergraduate students, under supervision of Prof. R.M. Srivastava. After this, I received my B.S. degree from Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) in 2006. In 2008, I received the Master grade from the M.S. program in Chemistry at this university. My thesis has been conduced under supervision of Prof. R. M. Srivastava from UFPE and Prof. H. Gallardo of Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). It was focused on the synthesis of luminescent liquid crystalline compounds containing an oxadiazole moiety. Actually I am instructor at UFPE where I am also enrolled with the synthesis of new larvicidal based on 1,2,4-oxadiazole scaffold. I am also now looking for a Ph.D.
