Roberto Rivelino has a permanent position at the Federal University of Bahia since October, 2004. He is currently an adjunct professor of physics of the Solid State Physics Department. He has published more than twenty papers involving electronic structure and atomistic simulations in peer reviewed journals. He has acted as a referee of important scientific journals; e.g., Journal of Physical Chemistry A, B (ACS), Nanotechnology (IOP), Journal of Physics Condensed Matter (IOP), International Journal of Quantum Chemistry (Wiley), Brazilian Journal of Physics (SBF/Scielo), Journal of the Brazilian Chemical Society (SBQ/Scielo), Spectrochimica Acta. A (Elsevier), Journal of Molecular Structure - Theochem (Elsevier). He has coordinated scientific projects for young researchers funded by CNPq and FAPESB (funding agencies).
