I am a consultant in the area of sustainability and teach this topic as a distance learning course at Harvard University. As a chemist, I have particular interest in the chemical industry, petrochemical industry, pharmaceuticals/biotech, batch chemical processes and R&D. Whether it involves the use of management systems ( quality, environmental or occupational health & safety), business excellence frameworks, risk management, or process improvement, I am right at home with these tools. I am also involved in pollution prevention and green chemistry. My "day job" is with a Fortune 300 company and consulting firm - The Shaw Group. At night, I am an Adjunct Professor at Harvard University's Extension School. I help companies implement sustainability solutions throughout the organization and across the supply chain.
