We keep a database of all compounds isolated by our group using Microsoft Access. I am involved in maintaining the database, particularly entering new compounds and bioactivity data. I am currently trying to automate the database using macros and forms.
I am also working for Journal of Natural Products as a journal office administrator, using the ACS Paragon Plus system.
As a hobby of mine, I have some experience with Linux, particularly using WINE and MacPorts to run Windows software on UNIX based systems.
Area of Expertise:
Natural Products Chemistry. Our lab research is focused on isolation and structural elucidation of compounds of natural origin for use as anti-cancer agents.
