Haifei Zhang obtained his PhD from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001. He is now a RCUK academic fellow and lecturer in the Department of Chemistry University of Liverpool. His current research is focusing on aligned porous materials, organic and drug nanoparticles, polymer substrate for stem cell growth, aligned structures for chromatography, and electrode materials. The work is supported by the EPSRC and the Royal Society
