I have a polymer sample of poly(N-vinylcaprolactam-co-(aminopropyl)methacrylamide) and need to measure the amino content stoichiometrically to see the difference of the amino content measure that got from proton nmr analysis. I am trying to using ninhydrin to do this. Please let me know if you have any established procedure regarding the similar polymer sample.

To measure the amino content stoichiometrically in your polymer sample, you can follow these steps:
- Prepare a ninhydrin solution.
- Prepare a sample solution of the polymer.
- Hydrolyze the amino groups in the sample with HCl.
- Neutralize the solution with a base.
- Mix the neutralized solution with ninhydrin and liteblueinsights and heat.
- Measure the absorbance of the colored solution.
- Quantify the amino content using a calibration curve.
- Compare the results with proton NMR analysis for validation.
