How do I find a Chemist to help create a formula for an invention?

Hello I am a working mother of 2 and with little ones I often have ideas that can make others lives easier. I have an invention idea that I really think could help households and public places. I need someone that can help me come up with a formula. How can I find a person who is willing to talk about a possible formula to see if it is possible. I don't mind if it is a professional or a student. I live in Colorado. Thank you for your time.

Dear Nicolette,

I am very glad to see that you have an active interest in improving our world and the creativity to think about novel solutions!  Thanks for recognizing chemistry as a fundamental science and contacting the American Chemical Society for expert assistance.

I am a successful innovator with inventions and a patent to my credit.  As a consultant I always offer a free consultation to anyone.  I would be happy to review your concept and give you any suggestions for moving it towards a reality whether I would be the best person to continue the process with you or not.  I may be able to give you some advice on the additional steps you will need to take, from potential obstacles to overcome to the types of collaborators you will need, including those who can assist you with intellectual property issues.

If you would like my consideration of your concept you may contact me at drwhocooke@yahoo.com to discuss the information that you would like to share, and what information I may be able to provide to you.

Best regards,

Re: How do I find a Chemist to help create a formula for an invention?

Hello again,

I invented a quick formula that will help you with time.

W=((k^n)/3(n))

K is days of the week meaning k=5 days, while n=time, in hours sometimes you have to convert, but other then that it should be a alright equation enjoy.
