I cannot find any information on how to seperate hydrogen and oxygen when in a gasous form rather than a liquid form. Is it more diffucult?

Separating HHO or H2 O2 gas.

Hello Jason,

There a many different technologies that could be used depending upon the relative amounts and sources of the gas. If we are talking about a small amount of hydrogen in a large amount of oxygen or vice versa, there catalytic systems that will convert the residual gas to water that can be removed with a mole-sieve bed.

What is the source and relative amounts of hydrogen and oxygen?

The reason that there are not many results for separation of gaseous oxygen and hydrogen is that the mixture of the two on any sort scale would be explosive.
