This question is purely hypothetical, as I don't possess the tools or knowledge to "try this safely at home". I am on sodium zirconium cyclosilicate also known as Lokelma to keep the potassium out of my system. It's a long story. However, it is very expensive stuff, and it seems to me that really it's just a pinch of chemicals smashed together in a powder. How expensive and difficult is it to create this powder, considering necessary raw materials and processes?
