Re: Superstorm Sandy

I was wondering if there was a way that my student chapter could donate to the efforts in helping the victims of Sandy through the ACS since we do have other student chapters that were affected by this tragedy. I can't find anything on the site about this though.

Re: Superstorm Sandy

I think it is wonderful that ACS is taking notice of Sandy. I live in Ortley Beach, NJ which was one of the worst affected areas on the Jersey shore. A 22 foot wave crashed right through my small town and we sustained the most structural damage in any town south of Mantaloking. At present, I still have not been allowed back to my house to see what kind of damage sustained, as the area has been deemed unsafe. I will most likely not be able to return for some time, and the area will not be livable for at least a year. This is the most horrible experience I've ever had, and hopefully the coming weeks will bring me some good news.
