The "magic" involved in a nuetralizing reaction

I have read both health tips and cleaning tips that involve using baking soda and vinegar to clean or produce some health benefit. Mixing these two ingredients, sometimes with the addition of salt, is porported to create a powerful effect. What I see is simply a neutralizing reaction between an acid and a base. What "magic" is taking place to make this neutralizing reaction of any benefit? All I see is a reaction reminescent of some magic trick one might do for very young children,as the acid and base neutralize each other. Is something else going on that creates either a health benefit or a cleaning solution benefit or is this just a joke someone is using to amuse themselves, while generating a feeling of superiority over the ignorant who might believe their story has nerit.
Here's an example of what I mean.  https://www.facebook.com/reel/590948590216994

Re: The "magic" involved in a nuetralizing reaction

Mixing vinegar and baking soda creates a versatile and eco-friendly solution for various household and cleaning tasks. Here are some uses for this combination:
- *Natural Cleaning Agent*: The mixture creates a fizzing reaction that helps lift dirt and grime, making it effective for cleaning surfaces like sinks, toilets, and countertops.
- *Drain Cleaner*: Pour the mixture down a clogged drain to break down grease and debris. Follow with hot water to rinse.
- *Toilet Bowl Cleaner*: Pour vinegar and baking soda into the toilet bowl, let it sit for a few minutes, then scrub and flush.
- *Carpet Deodorizer*: Sprinkle baking soda on carpets, add vinegar, and scrub to remove odors and stains.
- *Pest Control*: The mixture can help deter ants and other pests by disrupting their trails and nests.
- *Gardening*: Use the mixture as a natural fertilizer or to neutralize soil pH.
- *Laundry*: Add the mixture to your laundry to help remove stains and odors.
- *Dishwasher Rinse Aid*: Use the mixture as a natural rinse aid to help remove food residue and stains.

Some popular recipes include:
- *All-Purpose Cleaner*: Mix 1 cup vinegar, 1 cup baking soda, and 1 gallon water.
- *Drain Cleaner*: Mix 1 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup baking soda, and hot water.
- *Toilet Bowl Cleaner*: Mix 1 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup baking soda, and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before scrubbing.

Remember to always test a small area before using the mixture on a new surface, and wear gloves to avoid skin irritation.
