ACS at AT&T Park in San Francisco for the Bay Area Science Festival on 06 November 2011

Discovery Days at AT&T Park in San Francisco on 06 November 2011 - The ACS presented eight hands-on activity booths, two organized by the California Section and six by the ACS Office of Community Affairs, all staffed by Cal ACS volunteers.  Over 100 other SF Bay Area organizations participated and welcomed over 22,000 visitors. It was an amazing opportunity to share our message about IYC 2011 and the transforming power of chemistry.  At least 1000 kids tried the  hands-on activities at the two California Section booths and took home NCW publications and souvenirs.  Additional Cal ACS volunteers staffed the six activity booths sponsored by the ACS OCA. ...
