I am completing a postdoctoral fellowship at a national lab and am on the job hunt. I am hoping to find a technical research job in the private sector. I have realized that I know very little (along with my current advisors) about the industry. I am interested in people's opinions on what I should do, read, study, etc. to begin making myself marketable. Also, what things are crucial for me to accomplish in my next job (eg management etc.) to move along professionally. I appreciate any advice.
