There is a button 'Stop email notifications' on the website page for this discussion. I'm not sure whether that applies to all discussions or just the current one.

The instuctions that Bill gave will only stop the email from this discussion thread.

To manage your default settings:

When logged into the site, there is a "your stuff" navigation button (with a clipboard)  next to your photo and name.

Under this tab is a selection for "Preferences" and then a tab for "Email Notificaiton Preferences".

Changing your preferences here will change them for the entire site.  I receive most of mine in a weekly digest, but you can of course opt out of all email notifications.

If you have any other questions around managing your preferences, please feel free to send me an email directly (j_sullivan@acs.org) and I will either help you or find someone who can help you better than me.

Thanks for the update - looks good.

I noticed the following:

• The CINF Lifetime Membership Award should be the CINF Lifetime

Award

• The Meritorious Service Award should be the Val Metanomski

Meritorious Service Award

• Applications for the CINF Scholarships for Scientific

Excellence should be sent to Guenter Grethe

• Applications for the Lucille M. Wert Student Scholarship

should be sent to Marge Matthews

• The CINF Scholarship for Scientific Excellence page at

http://www.acscinf.org/awards/sciexcel.php contains some carry-over text

from another award that should be deleted:

• have made outstanding contributions to the Division over the years,

or

• deserve recognition for specific activities benefiting the Division

The current Chair, Chair-Elect, Treasurer, and Secretary are ineligible

to receive this award.

After reading Phil’s reply I noticed that on the scholarship page

(http://www.acscinf.org/awards/sciexcel.php) the recipient of the 2009 Fall

award is not listed. It was:

The title of his presentation was:

Finding renewable energy materials one screensaver at a time

Furthermore, FIZ Chemie Berlin is not listed as the sponsor for the Fall

2009 award.
