The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) is offering a grant to support an intern at a Minnesota facility undertaking a green chemistry and engineering-related project this summer (2016).
While eligible companies may be headquartered outside the state, the work must take place in Minnesota. One grant of up to $7,500 will be awarded to the applicant best meeting MPCA's criteria.
This grant is offered in partnership with the Green Chemistry & Commerce Council's Innovators Internship program. GC3 is beginning the process of recruiting recent college grads or current graduate students with science, technology, engineering or math backgrounds. The successful company applicant will then interview from the group of candidates GC3 gathers.
More information and application materials are available on this MPCA Grants web page: https://www.pca.state.mn.us/waste/green-and-safer-product-chemistry-grants.
Questions may only be addressed to p2.pca@state.mn.us; answers will be posted at the Grants page above.
The deadline for applications is March 22, 2016, at 2:00 PM Central time.
