What browser are you using? And what are you cutting from? We can try to reproduce.
IE 8.0, tried from Notepad, Twitter, Facebook and Word. Could copy and paste between all of these applications but when I tried SHIFT-INS (or right click Paste) inside this window, nothing would transfer.
OS is Win 7, 64-bit.

Steve,
I'm looking into this. I've had one other person tell me they had a problem with this several weeks ago, but I haven't been able to reproduce it. I'll see if I can find some more information.
In the meantime, could you try the following?
1. Can you copy and paste from Facebook or twitter into word and/or notepad?
2. IF you were using Shift-INS, can you try Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V instead?
3. Do you have access to another browser?
Thanks,
Christine
I had one last question. What were you trying to cut and paste into? Was it a document, a discussion, a publication? Thanks!
Sorry, had not had a chance to get back to this. I only have the problem in IE. Copy and Paste works correctly if I use Firefox. Unfortunately I need to keep my browser default at IE for work reasons, so if I click on the email notifications from the ACSN, I then have to open Firefox and cut and paste the URL to get to the discussion location (which works fine).
Yes, I can copy and paste into Twitter and Facebook (was doing exactly that when I ran into this problem) then tried copying to Notepad before copying into the ACS Network to see if I could get it to work.
I was trying to copy into a blog post (Science Elements) from Facebook, then from Twitter. Ctrl-V and Ctrl-C do not work in IE 8 here for me.
This is helpful. I will look into it further...
Thanks.
