Kelly Scientific is currently looking for a Quality Control Laboratory Manager for a contract to hire position for a chemical company in the Charlotte, NC area manufacturing wood coatings. The desired applicant will have a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and at least three years of experience managing a quality control lab.
Requirements:
BS in Chemistry or a related field
Minimum of 3 years managing a quality control lab
Experience with ICP, HPLC, TOC and particle size analyzers
Responsibilities:
Managing laboratory personnel
Create, update and review SOP’s
Develop methods for ICP, HPLC, TOC and particle size analysis
Maintain and troubleshoot instruments (including ICP’s and HPLC’s)
Ensure OSHA and EPA compliance
